In AU and US Garmin only pack refurbs in a generic blue and white box and retailers are legally required to disclose that the device is 'Factory Refurbished' or 'Refurbished as-new' or similar but cannot pass them off as new. I guess it's the same in EU mostly, so a refurb 1340T should be easy to pick regardless of whether it's packed with OEM GTM26 or GTM35/36. Here, early 1xxxT had the later model GTM25 in the box.

It is so! But I know many examples when retailers do not publish this detail on WEB and advertisement but only very good price.
