Never have a problem with MyDashboard and any device. I think you had problem with PC software. I am forget when I use WebUpdater last time, MyDashboard give a much more info on one page and more quicker. And so if you see HTML page source you could see even much more info.
P.S. MyDashboard always show serial number of device what lets me to avoid the fate of monkey with glasses
