All 3597's can also receive internet traffic via a SmartphoneLink though and if your area has only FM not DAB+ traffic message service the GTM60 is no benefit.

Thanks for the exhaustive reply, btw you were right i just checked and in italy DAB+ traffic is not available that's why the italian 3597 comes without the GTM60.
