i tried to use thai's jcv but no luck (nuvi restart when jcv popup every time)
is Garmin now requiring an unlock code for the JCV file?

Is the NUVI 3597LTM HD and newer 2013 models could be a locked JCV?

This has been a known issue with US/EU devices using Asian maps' JCVs for some time. The asian jcv files are encrypted differently to the US/EU/AU jcv files and will either crash and reboot a US/EU fw device or show a black screen dependent on model, whenever a non-compatible JunctionView is encountered on a route. Using the map only will not cause any issues.
You could try converting to TH fw using the original US boot bin but I don't think it will work with simple hybrid fw conversion.'Thanking Posts' are banned.
