Hello everyone.
As a newbee to the GPS arena...
What exactly can be Modified (or what are the possibilities) on my Nuvi 1350T?
Just Curious as to the capabilities.
Thanks a bunch!
To Start :o)... I am a Techno-Geek but, the GPS arena is new to me...
I was just wondering if i can modify my Garmin Nuvi 1350T to a Nuvi 1350LMT?
If I can or cannot, Please explain in "Layman's Term" :o)
Thanks a bunch!

The difference between 1350T and 1350LMT is the Lifetime Map update subscription. You can buy it from Garmin or you come here every three month to download the current maps manually for free.

Just to expand on the above reply. You cannot modify (as in 'convert') a nuvi to a Lifetime Map model. All units have a unique ID which Garmin uses to ensure only LM models are receiving lifetime updates. But you can buy a lifetime map subscription for your original OEM map area to add to your 1350T which will make it essentially an LMT, e.g. North America:

Thank you both. The price of the Maps are sooooooo much that a new Garmin goes for approx $20 more. This is why I was looking into seeing what my other options were :o)
