    There was an unresolved discussion about a related problem from about this [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] in [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] (Sensis/Whereis maps on Denso/Dayton VDO units in AU). The suggestion there was to combine one disc's kiwi files (which contain the map data) with the other files from a related but different system (C2 > C1). There is a quote in post #50 which is to do with another further related problem, i.e. swapping the kiwi files from a later to an earlier disc to use the earlier FW to bypass a nag screen and allow data entry while moving. This might give you a springboard to look for a way to swap another countries map data files for your original (probably ALLDATA.KWI). I think the big problem would be to find a way to convert the garmin map data in .img files to usable .kwi files. Good luck.

    Neil, thanks for the tip. It seems Fujitsu Siemens uses the same mapping system of Toyota (or vice versa).
    I will read the thread very carefully and see what I can come up with.

    Any additional input is highly appreciated.
