Hello all!
I'm trying to fix a Garmin GPS Nuvi 765T model. Recently the GPS is not working properly. At the time of upgrade, some files were deleted from the internal memory. How have other Nuvi 780, I used to copy and paste some. But the GPS does not work right, because when I select a map of Brazil, the GPS continues to show a map of North America. In previem situation, showed the map, but all yellow. Somebody help me, please?

Soft Version: 2.50
SW GPS Version: 2.90
Basemap: NR 2.00

First hard reset it ,then run Garmin Webupdater to update to the latest firmware, then rerun it again to update other additional files needed ,like txt and voices files updates. After that we'll think at maps

Thanks your reply. I already downloaded Garmin Webupdater, but it has problem with internet conection. Not working. I think this error because proxy configurations (yes, I use internet at job). Trying again.

I tryed connect Webupdater again. It not work and Garmin site not bloqued.
How to make hard reset?

Install Garmin USB drivers and Garmin communicator plugin and retry, it should work under proxi too.

Hi catymag and lolypo,
Now, GPS is working fine! I simply make hard reset and copy GPUDATE.GCD to Garmin nuvi. Others files, I copy from Nuvi 780 (voice, language etc).

Try to run webupdater becouse is also update for GPS chip and for TMC.

I'm not sure files are the same for 765 and 780 and there are other updates , like timezone map, and as lolypop said ,TMC, chip and others.

I do not understand. I copied files from the nuvi 780 and is working. Except auto update clock and time zone. There's another way to upgrade to chip, tmc and others without using webupdater?
