Silly me !

As I mentioned before, I changed something that O could not remember and that caused the display to change !
And that was ...... more data on the map data layout, as pointed out by x-trail.

After restoring it, I got back just two buttons, "Direction of travel / Elevation / Time of day" and the regular Speed. Wide map area now available.
