    hi kenta2,

Thanks for all the help rendered. However, there is a glitch now...

Apparantely after I try and select view hidden folders, I dont have the .system folder in my Garmin 3790. The files that I saw are .fseventsd, .Spotlight-V100 and .Trashes. I do not see the .System folder as you mention. What gives?

The old ASR files won't be any use unless you plan using the old map they are related to. They are just taking up space so better to delete them. While you are at it, delete the old JCV file. Each map update will have new ASR, JCV and 3d files. Also you should update the G2S and SQlite folder/files for 'complete' update. Again, the 'older' files can be safely deleted.

    hi kenta2,

I have added in the new SQlite file into the SQlite folder but I cannot find the G2S folder anywhere...is it a must to update the G2S folder?

    G2S Path: ".System\G2S"
If you don't have the folder simply create a folder and name it G2S.
No it is not a MUST. The GPS will work but you will not have the MYTRENDS feature.

With myTrends, when you save your regular destinations in your “Favorites,” your nüvi Garmin will, over time, begin to figure out where you’re going even without your telling it

thanks! I will do that...so apart from these files (replace gmapprom.img, add gmapsupp.img file to \Garmin\Map folder, the 2 ASR files (I did not delete the old ASR files, but it worked), gmap3d image file, JCV file in the .System folder and .System\G2S file, we are good?
Thanks for all the help there!
