    Default nuvi 1300 PIN

    Just get a Nuvi 1300 at a pawn shop, buy it is locked with a PIN. It is any way to unlocked?

    I doubt anyone here is going to do that, takes the whole point of the PIN/Security Location feature away, how do we know if you in fact obtained it legally or not?. You can take it to a Garmin service centre who will require proof of purchase and an 'arm & a leg' fee to unlock it. Or you can take it back to the seller and ask for it to be unlocked at their cost, or just demand a refund because it's useless. From the 1300 manual:

    Neil is right , no way to unlock it, just Garmin can do it.

    No, not lost. A valuable life lesson for 25 bucks. If something seems too good to be true, it probably is and in this case, too cheap @ $25 for a working 1300. Take it back.....sorry you got stiffed.

    Actually, the salesman told me the true, it is locked, but I thought, easy cake, just ask Noeman Garmin and ready to navigate.

    Stick it on eBay for auction starting at $1 plus postage, condition as 'for parts or not working' and state that it is locked. Who knows, you may get your money back. Nothing to loose. Good luck

    I got it. After almost 300 hits, I found the PIN. It is 2525
