These are packed as ONE gmapsupp.img file. The GPS shows them as three separated maps anyway (City Navigator, Autoguia, Tracksource).

The first problem is that:
When I turn on the 3790, all 3 maps are selected.
Then I go to the proper screen and de-select 2 of them, leaving just one.
After a few minutes ( 15 - 20 ) the GPS shows a monocolor background. I check there are NO maps selected.
Or sometimes all 3 are selected again...........
Have you loaded the 3 Brazil maps as one gmapsupp.img for any particular reason? Makes sense with an older unit like a 255w where you may be used to doing that, and where until recent firmware updates you needed to have only one image as gmapsupp in the sd's Garmin folder, but makes no sense with a modern unit like 3790. I suggest remove the combined map image from the sd's Map folder [NOTE: Map NOT .MAP] and reload them in there as 3 separate image files, named anything convenient eg: CNNT_Brazil.image, Autoguia_Brazil.img, Tracksource_Brazil.img or whatever you want as long as it ends in .img. If your problem is because of a badly compiled gmapsupp, this will overcome it. Have a look at these threads: [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] (in particular Post #18) and [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] This one might interest you too: [Only registered and activated users can see links. ].

I am guessing a firmware problem ?
Probably not, unless you have done a recent fw update in which case re-load it.

The second problem is that:
When approaching a turn, the GPS says: turn right in 100 meters
It DOES NOT say: turn rigth in 100 meters on Yellow Avenue............
If you do not have a TTS (Text To Speech) voice selected then that is the correct prompt.
