Thread: is it posible to lock a custom img map?

hello every boby , i'm newbie en gps word , thank's to all of you i could unlock my first bluechart , :Animated52::Animated52:
i would like to know if its posible to do the oposit operation , if it posible to lock a my own personal img map to work just in my sd ??? thaks for your help
ah , i forget, i have a 421s and a 521s

Sure it's possible, but also it's possible to unlock them. So you will gain nothing.

thanks for your replay , i asked for that because i want to custom my own card and use it with just a few frends ; can you give me some links to do that o any way to lock it ,

I'll not give you an exact answer how to lock your own map, but some info you can find at these links:

P.S. you can ask Cnfhbr for more info about creating/locking maps. He is an expert on this.
