3D map get not install at Garmin 3490

Hi,

I have a Garmin 3490LMT (american) and I have installed in internal memory only the North American map, but in SD card (in Map folder) I have Europe 2012.30 with gmap3d1.img or gmap3d.img (it is all the same, it works OK with the two names). But when I want to agree the 3D map of CN South America 2012.40 (unlocked) to SD Map folder with the other name available, it is no possible, i.e., no SouthAm map 3D appears registered with the other maps in the relationship (My Maps), although with the CN South Am NT, it is all OK and it works OK too. The problem is only with the 3D map. What is wrong? What can I do?

How did you renamed the two maps? The CN and the 3d one? Try to rename them like this: SouthAmerica.img and SouthAmerica3d.img

Edit: check if the map is unlocked

Yes, 3D is unlocked version. I tried to insert the name cnsoutham.img and cnsoutham3d.img, but 3D remains inaccessible, and not appears registered in My Maps.

Try to rename 3D map of SA into gmap3d1.img, 3d map of Europe - into gmap3d1.img.

Thanks for our helps, but after tested this conditions, nothing has modified. The 3D map of SA simply no appears. Have anybody other way to try? Thanks in advanced.

to clovis2: What program you've unlocked a 3D map of SA? You know, what ID the device and ID SD card different?

Well, I have tested both, locked and unlocked programs that I had obtained donwnloading from noeman. But I don't knew that SD has a specific ID, other than device's ID. Where can I find the ID number of the SD card? Note that unlocked 3D South Am didn't works. And if I reformat the all SD card, can I obtain a better chance?

Use this [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] and don't bother with Card ID.
