As Caty stated, you don't need the*.unl file for an unlocked image.

Unfortunately I have no receipt. The owner is a friend of mine who bought it a year ago from kijiji for $75. He used it until it stopped loading maps and I cure it. BTW, I sent an email to Garmin and still waiting. I unlocked the unclocked image with Fast IMG unlocker but no luck

To definately eliminate the possibility of any problem with your Canada/Alaska map image, have you tried a different map? If not, why not download any from the [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] and see. There's plenty of images both locked & unlocked available. At least it will tell you for sure if you have a general problem.

Could it be a possible Wrong Firmware Problem ?
Have you tried to reload Firmware on the unit ? The Cure normally disables .IMG file extension.

Bingo!! Thank you all guys, I forgot to reflash the normal firmware. Everything is fine now except for the calibration, it is so weird, I calibrated it twice but still no luck. I will try to flash 2.5 and will let you know of the outcome.
