I have 60 CsX for my motorbike travels and it has cards with 2 GB capasity.
Don't know what to do with large maps like City Navigator Europe !
Should I change my device with another one which has large capacity.
Thanks

I have a76CSx which is essentially the same unit but made for Marine use and I have an 8GB Micro-SD cards in it and it works fine and will hold larger maps over 2GB with no problem.
You can buy 8GB Micro-SD cards cheap now-a-days.
No need to buy a new GPS unit, just get a larger memory card.
Thanks a lot for answers. I will try large micro-sd card first...![]()
The older versions of firmware don't support maps larger than 2G.
There are no more support for the 60CSx, the latest firmware is 4.0. You download that from Garmin. Be sure to follow their instructions correctly.
There are some useful workarounds to the problem with maximun map size of 2GB with older gps units.
As for the 60csx, which supports only one map file (gmapsupp.img), you can use a larger sd card and have several .img files if you have access to a pc or smartphone. Then you can rename the file you want to use to gmapsupp.img and the other file(s) to something more descriptive.
If you do not have access to computer you are left to having several sd cards and switch cards.
Go toGarmin: GPSMAP 60CSx Updates & DownloadsCode:Please Login or Register to see the links
and download the latest firmware.
After firmware 3.90, you have "...Added support for maps greater than 2 GB."
