Thanks for the suggestions. Yep I do have a problem, no 3D buildings.

I know paths are important, but if mine were wrong...
1st they would not show in the settings/myMaps and
2nd if I re-install City Navigator Europe NTU (Unicode) 2012.10 with the corresponding JCV files and gMap3d files using exactly the same paths everything works.

I am not sure I understand what you mean. I am using the gMap3D posted by catymag here...

unless you are suggesting to change the file name or use the gMap3D NT instead of the gMap NTU.
