Thread: nuvi1410 speed

hi guys,i have nuvi 1410 with MENA_12.1\MiddleEast_and_NortherAfrica installed map,what i've noticed that when my speedometer on my car is showing 120 km/h on my nuvi is showing only 110 km/h,is this something wrong with my nuvi unit or the map installed?
please any tips for this issue..thanks to all!!

i have also observe this that the difference is always 10Km between my car speedometer and my Nuvi1410.

i shall appreciate if someone can comment on this.

This is quite common, car speedometers often show speed some % greater than real.

If you drive your car with constant speed - GPS navigator is the most precision instrument. But it have a some little delay when you reduce or increase speed!
I have a different speed on speedometer in case I use summer or winter tires. But GPS speed is more precise data what I check many times on road speed camera. So I keep this difference between summer and winter season in my head coz I not use navi allways and anywere...
