IMG file still locked

Hello,

I unlocked the new Garmin City Navigator Europe 2012.10 map in MapSource. Then i selected the regions that i needed and later I chose to sent the img file to my hard disk. After when the process was finished, i copied the img file to my sd card and then put it into my Garmin Nuvi 200W and the img file is still locked.

Then i used keygen and made the unlock code.

But is it possible if i send a new img file from MapSource to my hard disk then it will be automatically unlocked?

depends on how and on what do you use to unlock it

I tried this and run the file. Command prompt opened and it worked a little while and then it stucked. I don't know if it finished or not, it just stopped on one file and that's all.

Closed the program and opened mapsource, but the map still locked.

Then i used key generator and then it unlocked the map.

Still i don't understand when i copied that new map set into sd card it asked again for the unlock code. I thoguht the mapsource will unlock everything.

For the IMG use the last FIU version (no command prompt window) and wait ,it's a big map, it needs some minutes ,it depends on how fast is your pc, but it must unlock more than 2 gb maps (379 mapsets)
It's a map with FID greater than 2200 and would require .gma file or it will be locked in your gps.
Or it needs , as said before,to be unlocked with mapset unlocker for MS( needs time let it work, forget it till wont close itself) or FIU for the IMG
