Does the unit need to be off before i insert a microSD card into the slot?
What about taking out the card - should i turn off the unit prior to taking out the microSD card?

Garmin 1450 and Mini SD card handling question

For my 37xx.,
Insertion sd card while nuvi is already on --> Maps in sd card is read., + no problem to use map in card.
Taking card out while nuvi is on --> Nuvi will be ok (Map data just suddenly disappear from nuvi memory., not effect to nuvi firmware)
Map data within sd card --> I guess it will be ok too.
