    There is no subscription for Thailand. Its free available.
    The only possibility could be, that the Thai FW is necessary for displaying TMC, SG/MAL FW could be not enough.
    Similar like Trafficinfo in Singapore which only works with SG/MAL FW

    It is still not working even you gen key. You must have always the TrafficProvider.xml which have the Thai information in it.
    So far no one can manage to make it show up.

    The TrafficProvider.xml is only used in Nuvi 1xxx and 37xx series.
    Other devices cannot use it.
    The ID written above is for the Thailand Map v11
    And once again: Thailand Traffic is free, no subscription needed
    Following the part of TrafficProvider.xml v2.60
    <country name="Thailand" cc="2" fmTuningGrid="World">
    <boundary desc="Thailand">
    <posn lat="5.0" lon="97.0" />
    <posn lat="21.0" lon="97.0" />
    <posn lat="21.0" lon="106.0" />
    <posn lat="5.0" lon="106.0" />
    </boundary>
    <provider>
    <providerName>Thailand GT</providerName>
    <pay>false</pay>
    <tuning ltn="10" sid="30" />
    </provider>
    </country>

    If I want a US Navteq Traffic Subscription, do I have to enter 28935 only or do I need to enter both 28935 & 31751??

    The reason I ask is because as soon as I enter the code for US (28935) the GPS says it is subscribed to US & Canada without entering the other code.

    So fare no luck.
    Have anyone been able to get a (US) nuvi to work with Thai TMC yet?

    Yes, even a free service still need a subscription code to fix the traffic channel.

There is a real possibility of the local traffic system is not compatible with the GTMxx and firmware Americans.
    Can see from the units selling there, thought it FM traffic receiver as there has a GTM-35 selling.
