You've asked the distributor? My expirience is that the garmin support don't know much about their devices. It's "not possible" or you get a RMA to send the device back to the garmin repair center. I've got a few RMA's but at least I fixed all problems by own.

I have a 3790T but it does not have any traffic option in the menu. I'm new to Garmin after TOMTOM so am a bit unsure as to how to enable? Help!

Do you have the TMC antenna connected? If not, no traffic menu

I also have a kenwood/garmin dnx9960 unit and would like to remove the ads. I used the 1.5 keygen to add Total Traffic Network to my traffic subscription. That worked. But I didn't want to mess with the navteq part yet. It is my understanding thanks to little_frog that entering a new code for navteq USA and Canada will still not get rid of ads? Is this correct? Or will this get rid of ads permanently? Would PM little_frog but this is only my first post. Thanks

Just an update for everyone trying to remove a subscription. I was trying to remove Clear Channel (Total Traffic Network) and also removing the ad version of Navteq.

I tried the instructions (actually suggestions) posted in this thread and they did not work. I travelled to a different part of the USA and I went into my traffic menu on my765T. I have some 15+ codes entered, most of which i entered invalid codes on purpose to overide the TTN sub. All the "codes" show up in the menu. There is no way to remove any of the subscription on my 765T. It looks like it may have to be done at Garmin's factory. I am not worrying about the Navteq sub and getting the ads removed since for the most part, TTN overides Navteq in my areas of travel.

I hope that TTN overrides Navteq in my area. I don't really care for the adds. I have to drive about 30 miles before I pick up any traffic signal to test. I am giving up my search on how to remove my Navteq sub.

Has anybody codes for "Navicom Traffic" in Russia?
Russian devices with valid License must have a different TrafficProvider.xml...
