Automatic installers - WITH or WITHOUT meta files?

The meta files are not relevant as FastActivate will download the latest for you

...............except there are currently only around 26 or 27 of the 166 metas actually available (which FastActivate needs) although there are many more maps in the "Automatic Installer" post which cannot currently be activated

... I hope that they get posted before I go on vacation in mid June ....

Is the only way to get them from buying customers?

1. We're all trying to get ALL the metas ASAP but only time will tell. ALL the metas so far have come from generous "buyers" of the maps.
2. ONLY maps where we DO have metas should be in the "Automatic Installer" list as this is VERY misleading!

The same discussion happens with every new map release.
You have users that simply want all and now.
Makes no difference if they are with or without an installer, you will always have users that check and users that don't.
With 200+ maps each release I think we can expect the person downloading to check if the map has the codes available or to simply try the activation again a few days later.
If you can keep track what map is available and for which map there is a code than please go ahaed and upload your collection of available maps only.
But you will notice that users simply download the map they want and still ask for the code if it does not work.

So I upload the maps that are available, if a user can't wait it is not my fault

I'm not forcing to update the map on the device I only provide the files

I agree, and you & I know this but I was just trying to clarify for newbies that just because it's available to auto-instal doesn't mean it will automatically activate so your "The meta files are not relevant as FastActivate will download the latest for you" may be a bit confusing for them.
