Problems with installing iGO primo

Hello Helpers,
After a map update provided by the unit manufacturer my GPS app no longer works. A multitude of attempts to reinstall the original version (iGO primo 9.7.6) and a later version (9.6.29.329069) as per manufacturer support instructions and the user manual, I continually get errors when the app is launched.
The errors are:
-Insert SD card.(the SD card is built in and has everything copied to it).
-Resolution 1024x600 is not possible in this iGo app.

Firstly, the multimedia unit is a Seicane S 30129 in dash system with in built SD Card (memory- as they refer to it).
The user manual makes particular note to "copy the navigation map software to the system storage memory first, and then install (run) the navigation APK". The manual does not expand as to whether that means the downloaded zip archive or files/folders after being unzipped.
This step is because I have to download the archive on a computer to a USB drive and copy / load everything from that to the internal SD card.
After installation, I have tried to start the iGO app from the SD card (home screen) and even from the USB drive. Both have come up with the same errors.I am at a loss as to whether some of the items should be copied to the iGO folder created on the SD card or onto the card separately, which I understand would be the root directory. (Items copied are: Lost Dir, global_cfg, iGO zip folder,& the apk file.)
I hope I have given you all the pertinent information for this request for help and guidance.

The first sentence "After a map update provided by the unit manufacturer my GPS app no longer works." seems to indicated that you're trying to do a "legit" map update and it failed; right? Then you try to re-install original proggy and it still doesn't work? Did you try reverting back to using the old map (that was working) to see if it works?

Thank you for taking the time to read my plea for help and responding.
Yes I tried going back to the original prog. and maps etc. that I backed up from the installation when I bought the multimedia system.
My concern is that I am missing something like a piece of software or that there is a problem with copying the files / folders to the SD card as per the note in the user manual.("Please copy the navigation map software to the system storage memory (presumably the SD card) first, and then install the navigation APK.") It is not clear whether the zip folder should be unzipped first or copied as is.
When I took the unzipped method the error showed that it could not find a "zip archive". When copied as a zip folder, it asked for the SD card to be inserted. Very puzzling.

If you are using the original proggy and doesn't have problem with "old maps" located on SD card, but has problem with "newer maps"; it most likely to be content licensing issue. What's confusing is if it originally worked but doesn't after just doing a content (map) update, you should not get any problem with "Resolution 1024x600 is not possible in this iGo app."
So I will asked again, are you using original proggy ONLY or did you try replacing it with another version and then it doesn't worked?

Some car unit with original proggy and unit still "locked" require certain procedure to update the content. But once the unit is "unlocked" and uses cracked proggy (or has valid content licenses), then map contents will work with no issue. What's the "zip" file you've placed on SD card that it's complaining about? Where did you get that zip file? How big is it? Can you uploaded to zippyshare.com?

Downloaded the file as per manufacturer's instructions from [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]
It appears to be a complete newer version. iGo Primo (APK 9.6.29.329069). The zip file was titled Android-AU with close to 741Mb.
According to the user manual I needed to uninstall the previous prog. and delete the associated files / folders prior to installing the new download. I can't even get the original to work from the backup saved to a USB.
Again, I very carefully followed instructions, re-downloaded the zip archive, copied it to a new iGO folder on the SD card, installed it and rebooted. When I launched the rpog. the error was: "missing or incomplete files - not a zip archive". No mention of a resolution problem.

In that package is old version of iGO (9.6.7.235654-Thin1.0). Btw, it is good version, I have just an update of it.
I guess it is first edition, not updated.

First, use sys file from that version, put it in new package.
Rename igo folder on SD card to NavGear, if it is not already that name.

Keep in mind the following
- we don't and can not know exact specifications of your unit
(read forum [Only registered and activated users can see links. ])
- solutions that we can propose here ... are not payed.

Try first to finish the conversation and solve problem with your supplier.
If it fails, then we can propose some other solutions after you give us all the information we need

Thank you. I am continuing contact with supplier and will advise outcome.

A big thank you to osiris4isis and Boki_Srb for efforts to help sort out my issue with installing iGO and map updates.All resolved and working well with iGO My Way which installed with 9.6.29.329069 APK. One item left to be sorted out is a warning with an icon that looks like a bus within a bus lane and a reduced speed limit of 55 Kmh where there is no bus lane or even a bus stop. May be a left over from a European set up which I will try to locate.

If you're from Australia, there is nothing that you need (nor uses) from "European set." Either the alert warning is coming from *.txt or *.spc under content/speedcam directory.

on the lenovo M10 HD android 11 tablet device, while I installed the application, it says the sd card is being inserted.
I don't know what's wrong. I haven't put a memory card in the device. I have the igo folder in the root of the phone
