Reply With QuoteYou mean DriveSmart 65 i guess, so it depends on which one you've got how it handles traffic. I think DS65 is available in EU/UK as either a Live Traffic model or Digital Traffic model. The first can get traffic information by pairing it with the Garmin app on a smartphone. The second receives OTA DAB radio signals using a dedicated cable and doesn’t require pairing with a smartphone.
Garmin stops updating both maps and fw when they deem devices to be at 'end of life'. Many discontinued devices are still supported for many years.

Garmin 65LM and Traffic
Is it possible to upgrade the Garmin65LM to include traffic information?
Also once a Garmin is discontinued does it stop getting map updates and firmware updates from Garmin?
