I was exactly the same problem. I tried to reinstall again, uninstalled, eliminated all the windows registry traces and not forward. Worst of all, it had to v7.70 patchead working perfectly and now I can not go back to the original situation, so does that in version 7.72. Certainly the manufacturer wrote down some hidden ID on Windows or on their servers that block the program.
