No, unfortunately, I didn't upload anything. Also you're going to test some map of your location right?
I can convert it for you if you want. Just give me the link and the .GMP subfile names that you really need.
Coz the map is going to grow ~5 times and become really huge, and I have 512 megabit/sec upload bandwidth.

I can't do anything before about 0300 UTC 30 Sept, but these are the only two tiles i need to test it on the road [if you only want to do one of the tiles, do Southern Brisbane]:

I've unlocked the "untouched" image with gimgunlock before processing it.
Thanks, i was joking about the 'ity' map [ity-bity, eng slang for tiny].
I'd already tried a pseudo/quasi-NT map made from GMapTool in the 2710 previously, no go. Maybe i didn't do it right, here's what i did:
Enable 'Experimental Option' under Options tab > Under Join tab check 'Convert to quasi-NT Format', fill 'Output file' & 'Mapset name' fields then press 'Join all'. Is that correct?

No, converting to pseudo-NT was a bad idea, as old devices don't know anything about GMP subfiles. It is the opposite that we need to do, eliminating GMP subfiles.
However, now we can take your pseudo-NT map and convert to non-NT (more precisely, "GMP-free") with process-gmp.
It should work if the original map was non-NT (well, I guess it was, otherwise "convert to quais-NT Format" wouldn't work).
Could be i'm losing the plot, but really what's the point in taking a non-NT map [which is native to the device] and converting it to pseudo-NT, then making it 'GMP-free'. Even if the end product can be read, it still has the old mapping data from the original Non-NT map ....... am i missing something?
