Thread: German Inland Waterways ECDIS maps published by WSV gmapsupp converson for Garmin 400series

Dear Forum
this is a task for experts, so for sure not for me. I have seen that the WSV has published all maps for the German Inland Waterways.

The content of the maps shall be similar as EU060R.

The maps can be reviewed with Freeware Viewer OpenCPN. I saw that this OpenCPN also can convert to Garmin std. I have no clue how it works.

I would like to ask for a volumteer who can patch all WSV map for Germany and create an img for Garmin GPSmaps.

Thank you for the site. Very good data. Task is possible. Just open the maps with Global Mapper. Very nice. But I am not a volunteer...don't have time. This task needs a lot of time if someone is gonna convert the data into a garmin vector mapping. Maybe as a raster would be faster. With the latest garmin compiler.
