Maybe because the patch file automatically places 3 license files in the global mapper directory of the c drive.
It will be mistaken by your defense software as a virus. and a splash screen has been added (in order to pass the boring startup waiting time). and Global Mapper has been removed Online verification and some other checks.
In the future. my patch files will be made in this way. If someone is afraid that it is a virus. they can not download and use it.
