Reply With QuoteOn GM 16.2 b 082915 64bit on win 7 64 the patcher v16.1.4._b041015_.Patch.REPT (Post 243) doesn't work. It registers the program ok but when you load an ecw file and zoom in about 9 levels you get a kernel dump from GM. It doesn't crash with the demo version
GM also crashes with patch daily build GM 16.2 b 061415 64bit
GM v16.1.4._b041015 with the patcher v16.1.4._b041015_.Patch.REPT works ok

I have tested successfully both versions, 32bit and 64bit; both are working perfectly!

You mean like in message #49 and the following?
1. Executing a working patch in a previous version
2. Looking in HEX-editor for all executed modifications
3. Searching in HEX-editor for same patterns in current version and executing the same modifications
Correct?

Global.Mapper.v16.2.5
Both versions tested: Version from message #262 OR patched version using Global.Mapper.v16.2.5.Patch-REPT.zip (message #265)
Did anybody realise, that this version has problems with ecw-handling?
1. I store a set of tif-files as one ecw-file; program behaviour seems normal.
2. I load the ecw-file, but GM does not shown anything.
3. The geografic area of the ecw-file is presented, but GM shows no content.
Version 16.20 on a different PC works fine.
Any similiar experience?

Global.Mapper.v16.2.5.Patch-REPT.zip may be used for both:
1. Global Mapper v16, Daily version 20150915;
2. Global Mapper v17-Beta Release;

Patch for GM 16.2.5. is also working for GM 17.0 final b092215 32bit.
