Thread: building a G2 marine map

Have anyone tried to build a G2 marine map. I am trying to build a 3d map inorder to use the Fish eye funtionality. but am getting various errors. I manage to export my elevation data and convert that to *.bin files. I then loaded that into the MPC as well as the various shp files. but cannot get the map build to be compatible with the GPSMAP 526 and hope to have the map working on GPSMAP 740.

Any help will be great!

I am quite curious about what it takes to make FISH EYE maps... IS there any way to view these on a regular GPS, say like the Nuvi 760 or 3760 (High resolution screen)?
