I guess that you found the advanced options for GMapTool. It's mentioned in the post that I gave a link to.
Also use Details button for a complete content list or Info button for a shorter info list. Details & Info buttons are found when "Files" tab is active.

Put your IMG in GmapTool, choose the "WRITE" tag , in the option "set version in header", in Ms window, write value '0' in the field - (Value '1' blocks maps displaying in Basecamp.
Enable advanced options.
Then click "Write all" or "Write selected"
Copy your IMG in a Garmin folder in an sd and it will be visible in Basecamp-

Details list -> In "Files" tab you can push the "Details" button.
