Thread: Navc. 9500 DSA All Rider and TTS on Rider2 ?

Hi Quin1965, thank you for your help!
In the download LATEST TomTom voices all links are down.
I installed the 9500 Rider DSA but no Computer voices show up in the Rider

I have the Loquendo7 voices, but I can not get them to work on my Rider2

I now wanted to try if VocalizerTTS voices will work, because I read this in some forums, these voices were uploaded by Megalos , but he deleted all the files, many people said that these voices were working on their devices.

Have you tested TTS on rider2 or One devices?

I tested the VocalizerTTS folder in your DSA Navcore -> No Computer Voice
is the voca folder the rar file uploaded by Megalos with modified Vocalizer voices to work with 32MB devices?

The download in post number 14 is missing some essential components.

I have only used it with a DSA Navcore.

I can't get it to work. Am I the silliest guy on earth?

Spoiler: What I did:

- used ClearFlash Tool on my Rider2
- cleared the SD
- installed Navcore 9.500 Memory Boost HS (this Navcore has a TT-DSA - Skin Chooser on Menu Page 7
- installed map Benelux_930_5563 (has TTS support)
- copied spoken voices to voices folder in SD root
- copied your sounds and VocalizerTTS folder to SD root
- used Fastactivate to patch maps nad voices
- Started the TT Rider
- choose English UK language
- When using Menu/Voices/Change Voices -> there is no Serena voice only the spoken voices I added, I choose "Jane"
- When using Menu/Voice preferences only possible selection :
___Read early warning ... YES / no
___Replace spoken inst. ... beep NEVER

Do I have to activate TTS somewhere?
Which exact navcore did you use?
Did you use a patch-tool to get your DSA-Navcore

pe1agp is a TomTom expert and uses a Rider !
So If he says TTS won't work, don't expect it to.
Although if I ever get my hands on a Rider I don't think I will be able to resist trying.

Since discovering SE Navcore's I have lost count of the number of Navcore's I've tried on my ONE but have only used 9.160 and 9.200 without MB for any extended period.
Both where created by me using DSA's tool.

Only by selecting the Rider skin have I ever lost sound !

TTS voices never need activating.
