I have had a good play about with the files and think it is complete now.
I have created 23 alert points (23 Category types) and they are as follows:-
Type (Category) 1 - Fixed Speed Cameras
Type (Category) 2 - Red Light/Speed Camera
Type (Category) 3 - Red Light Camera
Type (Category) 4 - Average Speed Camera
Type (Category) 5 - Mobile Speed Camera
Type (Category) 6 - Railway Crossing
Type (Category) 7 - Bus Lane Camera
Type (Category) 8 - Accident Blackspot
Type (Category) 9 - School Zone
Type (Category) 10 - Variable Speed Camera (these are cameras that speed is NOT fixed so could change from 30 to 50 or reverse and you may be unaware - you get them for example on M6 near Birmingham and also M25)
Type (Category) 12 - Toll Booth
Type (Category) 13 - Hospital Zone
Type (Category) 14 - Fire Station
Type (Category) 15 - Congestion Charge Zone
Type (Category) 16 - Tunnel
Type (Category) 20 - Low Bridge
Type (Category) 21 - Width Restriction (useful for larger vehicles so gives warning prior to being stuck)
Type (Category) 22 - Weight Restriction (useful for larger vehicles so gives warning prior to being stuck)
Type (Category) 23 - Speed Bumps
Type (Category) 25 - D2S Speed Camera (A new kind of camera in the UK, you get two lines on road and by time you see them its too late, no signs are displayed for this type of camera)
Type (Category) 26 - Electric Recharge Station (for electric cars)
Type (Category) 27 - Dangerous Bend
Type (Category) 28 - ADR Restrictions (useful for vehicles who carry hazardous goods, gives warning prior to restriction so can divert)
any or all features above can be disabled by going into settings/Sounds and Warnings/Alert Point Settings/Alert Types and change things there.
Currently all locations are in one speedcam.txt file (attached) except for 16 which there is no data yet.
All data is for the UK but easily adaptable for international use by just changing the type code on your data files to what is above.
Instructions for anyone else willing to try this out
UX File (copy this into your ux folder or create a folder called "ux" in your igo root folder)
[Only registered and activated users can see links. ]
speedcam.txt (copy this into your speedcam folder in the main contents folder)
[Only registered and activated users can see links. ]
You can alternatively place each individual category file in your speedcam folder instead of the full text file above, that way it makes it easier to update individual files.
