Hi,
How long do u wait for the connection? Normally if it finds satellite's it will connect to them, but sometimes I.e when it was switched of for a long time, or if u traveled with it from the US to EU it can take up to 30min to get a solid connection. It needs to download a new almanac (check link). Leave it outside, preferably in open air and it will connect after a wile.

I do all of this and leaved it for more than 2 hours outside, but it can't connect to satellites.

Hi again! My Garmin 3790 now is dead. I desided to downgrade the software to 4.9 and something goes wrong and it can't reboot now. The pc view it, I upgrade it to the last software, but it can't boot. When i power on it shows only Garmin and switch off after 5 seconds. Can I delete all the files from it and after that to copy the files from another 3790?
