If you add Lex_pkg in your nuvi in folder Garmin and if you take unit ID your GLG will work from internal storage
Hi all,
Just a bit of further feedback here. I followed some of the suggestions here and got it to work on a Nuvi 2200. Here's how:-
1.) Obtained the serial number of the SD-CARD by holding down the top right of the screen for 10s and going to page 3.
2.) Inserted the serial number (9 digits, I dunno why but it worked) in Jetmouse's Keygen and added 900 2 0 0 for MapID, PID, RgnID and VenID.
3.) Generated the Unlock Code and created the gmapsupp.unl file that was copied to %SD-CARD%\Garmin.
4.) Copied the %PC%\LEX_PKG folder to %SD-CARD%\Garmin and disconnected the device from the PC.
5.) Restarted the GPS and tested the GLG. All OK.

P.S. %PC% and %SD-CARD% refer to the relevant locations of where the information is stored and copied to.
Hi lolypop000,
I'll give that a try, as it failed when I copied the folder and the gmapsupp.unl to the .System folder, where it said to me the GLG was locked. Will give feedback once I have tried it.

Hi all,
I tried to add the Garmin Language Guide to the Nuvi 2200 internal storage itself and it kept on displaying the message "Garmin Language Guide is Locked". When I set it up to use the SD-Card, the Language Guide works without a hitch. I verified this using 2 different Nuvi 2200 units and both gave the same results. Hope this feedback helps.

I have tried renaming the gmapsupp.unl to D046800.unl but it will not work on the garmin 3580LMT. The message I get is that theGarmin Language Guide is Locked. I used Jetmouse's Keygen and added 900 2 0 0 for MapID, PID, RgnID and VenID and the Garmin Unit number.
It works fine from the SD memory card.
