Thread: Whats the easiest way to create jnx files From google earth sat images

Quick and easy and intuitive. Use Terra Incognita. Saves GE tiles directly to Birdeye JNX or custom map kmz. Upload and output your own high resolution image in same format. Large areas are automatically gridded plus you can enhance your map with your own gpx track or point overlay.


You can also load OziExplorer or BSB.KAP maps as your Map source and convert these to jnx.

I've been reading though the forum and I have tried a few different programs and I still haven't had any luck creating Jnx sat images to send to my garmin Montana. I just want to send Higher quality satellite images to my Montana then the birdeye view files from Garmin. What would be the easiest way? I have the full registered version of global mapper but I don't want to pay for the premium maps. Is there another easy way to get Google earth maps or other high quality satellite maps to send to my Montana.
