Hi, I'm new here and I'm in need of some help. I have Garmin Bluechart V9.5 (unlocked) loaded on a Windows 7 machine and when I open it in Mapsource (6.16.3.0) I don't see any depths or contours. I also have Homeport loaded on the same machine. Am I doing some thing wrong? I'd like to be able to use this with my GPSmap 76S. Thanks, Jim

MapSource can't support BlueCharts fully. Use HomePort and it will work properly. Please use search first, and if no results then post in current threads rather than opening a new one for basic questions.

..... or: unzip MS file with Winrar and run "Main.msi" instead of "Setup.exe" it doesn't check for a previous version and install the complete MS

What is the difference between Portable Special version from other?
I uninstalled all Garmin products and used the other patched file I had long time ago, I can't find in forum now.... so I uploaded it to examine it if you want [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]
Difference of that file is that it is exactly same (17.149.952 bytes) like original too(17.149.952 bytes), but the "MS6163lang-Special" patched file is (17.137.664 bytes)
Why that?
