As with any new tools not posted by team members the quality control is up to the user that downloads it - same for the support.
We have trusted and working tools that we support as we know they work fine.
Providing "new" tools is relative as each and every single one of them is based on the original TTUSER Easytools.
The skins change, the features change but the working stuff behind is always the same.
Before posting a new tool in an internatational forum it should be fully tested and at least offer full support in english, including a help.
In general I don't like "throw in postings" where someone just dumps a download without proper explanations and instructions - screenshots are always handy
If trusted members like BG now say the tool does not work the way it should I recommend leaving this tool where it is until a proper version is available.
Everyone knowing what DOS is can use the original tools with no problem in the world, for others there is FastActivate, the Easyusetool frontend (german), Albert's Easy Activator or even Bens BBS tool.
Blatant errors like the above only show that a toll is in it's beta state but not fully functional yet.
