I am a noob when it comes too these GPS's. I bought it a few days ago and wanted to install the map on my GPSmap 541s.

Can you help explain the process?

This is gmaptool log, check it , if you have the same.
If not or your download went wrong or my upload has been faulty,it can happen with big files, I'll reup it.

Edit :I checked the file and it's ok, probably your download is faulty.
The rared file is 697 MB (731.453.870 byte) like it's shown in 1fichier link page (697.57 Mo)
