    @MSigol
    You haven't said what unit you have, but this is universal: In sd root, create a folder named Garmin. Inside copy the unlocked Bluechart named as gmapsupp.img i.e. x:\Garmin\gmapsupp.img is the path. Also see catymag's post above yours.

    Don't bother to try to use MapSource when working with Bluecharts. It can be done but it's a pain in the butt and near useless anyway. HomePort is the correct program for Bluecharts. It will see them on an sd card regardless of their name (i.e. you can chose any name: AnyConvienientName.img), in a folder named Map as well as the Garmin folder. It will even see the images if still locked.

    Dear All / Catymag,
    On my Nuvi 3450, I create folder SD Card\Map and place the .img map on the folder.
    However the map cannot read/detect.
    I try to create on SD Card\Garmin\Map give the same result.

    Is there any trick how to put maps in storage card for Nuvi 3450 ?

    TIA

    SD/Map is ok. But is the map unlocked ? Have you named the map anyname.img (example CNA2013.30.img).
    In Map folder gmapsupp.img name is not supported.
    look here [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] 37xx is the same than 34/35xx

    You have to navigate to get to the good.

    I already unlock the maps by using gimgunlock 0.3 and
    I already rename the map , just like CNI2012.img , NavigasiMap.img
    and I put freemaps on SD\Map but still cannot read.

    I notice SD\Garmin\gmapsupp.img --> this map can read

    I wonder maybe we have to put the maps in other location/folder ?

    Thanks and regards

    In new Nuvis is "Map" not "map"- This folder supports anyname.img, not sure it supports gmapsupp.img. You can use gmapsupp.img naming in sd/Garmin, but just one gmapsupp.img per Garmin folder
