Yes. Garmin markets only one Topo for AU/NZ, as advised in Post #1, this one:

Don't bother trying to install this topo image in MS. Simply place the gmapsupp.img in a folder named Garmin in the root of an SD card (or in a [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] on your PC) and it will be seen in [Only registered and activated users can see links. ], whether it's locked or unlocked. To use it in your GPS simply place the microSD/SD card containing the unlocked image in your unit. Better to use [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] to unlock these big images.

Maybe you are thinking of a gmap folder? This is a fully complied image file which may be viewed in BC as the MS flag is set to zero. Why do you want to replace or modify the TYP file in any case?
