How to enable Bluecharts printing in Garmin Homeport.

How to enable Bluecharts printing in Garmin Homeport.

Usually printing in Homeport the latest Bluecharts ,is impossible, but we can use GMapTool ,to do it. How ?
Open GMapTool

import your Bluechart gmapsupp.img into it,

enable in Options tab , advanced options,
open Split tab and compile it like it's shown here:

create a directory (here C:\Documents and Settings\Desktop\Bluechart for MS) and give your map a name the one you'll have in MapSource,
in Create window select "files for Mapsource",
check "Compile preview map" and "Create TDB for marine map"
set also mapset FID with the FID of your BC (in this case 2028).
Then run Split all.
GMaptool will create, in your created directory ,the files to install your BC in mapsource.
Open that directory and install it running install batch inside-
You'll have it installed in Mapsource

but also in Homeport and you can create routes and print your map with routes.

not all the Bluecharts features will be supported in this kind of maps, but we'll have printing enabled

I can't get this to work for the life of me, any idea's? It say's

C:\Documents and Settings\Chris\Desktop\Bluechart for MS>echo off

Have you checked compile preview map ? Follow step by step.

Sorry I havent read well previous post. Preview map cant be compiled because probably Gmaptool cant find cGPSMapper.
You have installed it, but you must let Gmaptool see it.

I tried with my Bluechart G2 vision map. Process went well. However, result in mapsource is only a square.

Put map details at max and zoom in.

My Bluechart microSD card contains four IMG files:

gmapsupp.img
hxpc024a.img
hxpc024b.img
hxpc024c.img

When I follow the process outlined here I get a blank result:

See post #8, directly above yours. Zoomed in should show the mapping properly. When maps/charts are created using cGPSMapper, initially this bug appears with the page fully zoomed out.
