How to get a Garmin device firmware update without Webupdater?

and look at html source in your browser



Webupdater downloads fw.updates and saves it as \Garmin\GUPDATE.GCD on gps. after restart gps reflashes its memory- you can do it manually

You can find standard pages for last updates when clicking on "more informations" in Webupdater or look at the links at the bottom of this page-
You have to see the html source of these pages-

When you know the update file name , you can change version number and download also older versions, they are sometimes still available on Garmin site however they are often deleted when later versions issue.
