As far as I know it is mandatory that all textures are in 1 png file. MPC 7.21 and 7.22 require this. Maybe in future versions it will be possible to use bigger png files and/or more then 1 png file per building, but for now you will have to find a way to place all textures in one small png file. I think it's now 512 x 512 pixels.
