So week protection of payable features... Looks like this is a part of Garmin's strategy. There was no need to introduce those multiple XMLs, really. All the functionality was already present in 13xx/14xx inside one XML.

Garmin places the emphasis on maps in device, but not on features. It is general strategy of Garmin on non MPC markets. I know this strategy by Europe market. For MPC markets Garmin have no strategy
