Garmin Topo Danmark V2 Mapsource+ v2.01 IMG

Thank you for this great post.
I've tried several versions of this map (from this thread) and I only got the pietu version #2 (unlocked version) on an older version of mapsource to work (version 6.10.2). Which in itself is enough of course (so thank you again!) since it's working on my oregon device.
But I'm wondering what am I doing wrong for the supplied mapsource.exe isn't unlocking the maps for the supplied 6.16.2.0 Mapsource version in combination with the Managemapsource.exe. I'm probably overlooking something obvious but when i start the newer mapsource it keeps saying 'locked maps' and tries to let me unlock online. the unlocker I tried isnt working, so I suspect it's got something to do with the .gmap but I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong. Sorry if this comes over noobish. I'm new at this stuff.
Also I'm wondering if I'm missing map data (DEM?) if I transfer the mapfiles with an older mapsource version.

Try to install latest Mapsource version here
[Only registered and activated users can see links. ]
and patch it, following given instructions. Your mapsource version looks not patched and you need a patched version to unlock it with jetmouse kg-
Dont use online unlock wizard:read

Old MS arent able to display DEM-
If your Oregon has a new firmware you 'll need to unlock the img with
[Only registered and activated users can see links. ]
before copying the img in your sd ,coz you dont have the .gma file and this map has fid over 2200, or use an already unlocked img-

It appears that the problam was indeed an unpatched MS.
I think I have very recent firmware (4.00 if I think I'm reading my device correctly) so I'll see if I need to unlock it further with fast-img-unlocker. My main issue up to now was it not working with MS yet. I'll also try and compare if there was a difference between the old MS transfer (that worked like I stated) and the new one.

I do have a small question what do you mean when you write "I dont have .gma file and this map has fid over 2200". Am I correct to think fid stands for map ID number? If yes is there a big change after 2000 number?

K a bit of promised feedback. It appears that the step with fast-img-unlocker was not needed for it to work on my device.

I' m made a dir C:\TOPO Danmark v2 after than I started with setupNLD.dll (norm SETUP doesn,t work) and ungrendeld with Keygen 1.5. After than it works great under Mapsource.

Is it possible to get just .img file? I tried to get mapsource working but no.. Map is shown in map utilities but on main screen it says 0 map.

Try to install world map mapsource version , check our maps index, ,you will have your map in Ms drop down list

The links in the first post gives an untouched version of the DVD which you can install. It's locked. with tools you can unlock it and burn a new DVD whci will install unlocked maps.

No reaction in the "Macintosh Corner" so I try it here:
All my maps work fine
Why are this Topo Denmark and Topo Adria (both gmap files) giving me troubles in Basecamp when I zoom in on details? Made the installation 2 times; no result. Cleaned my tile caches; no result. New installation of Basecamp; no result. The map looks good but when I zoom in on the details at |------------| 500 m they are moved.

I send them to my GPS with Mapmanager and there (the renamed gmapsupp.img files) both work excellent.
Anyone knows this problem?

to install just run the installer : DANMARK2_YOURLANGUAGE.msi, no need to burn the dvd
When installed to unlock run

in gmap folder.

Are details in Basecamp set to max?
No problems with this map in Windows Basecamp ( original version from post 1)
It shows the same details in Mapsource and in Basecamp
