Thank you for your answer, but the file in post #24 is no longer available... Coulld you please repost an other link?
Do you know if this version has been tested?
By.
Sorry to bother, but I've spent days combing for this info, and I'm missing a step.
I have an Oregon 450. I've downgraded to both 4.20 and 4.32 beta, both downgrades work fine. I then download the Oregonx50_432Beta_JNX.exe file per the link on the first page, rename is gcupdate.gcd, put it in my E:\Garmin\ directory, but it doesn't patch.
Any tips what I'm doing wrong? Again, I've tried installing the Oregonx50_432Beta_JNX.exe (renamed to gcupdate.gcd) on my Oregon 450 with both the 4.20 and 4.32beta installed, but it doesn't seem to patch upon restart.
Thanks a bunch for the help! I'd love to get homemade JNX files working.
Oy.
[edit: more info to help troubleshoot:
I download FirmwarePatcher 2.6, took my Oregonx50_432Beta_JNX.exe, renamed it gupdate.gcd, and tried to drag it into the Patcher, but it kicked back "File format not recognized.]
[edit2: FIXED! Sorry for the hassle, all, I found what I needed to do in post #13, that was the key, I'll leave this here in case I can help others with my experience. Appreciate it!]

As the patcher developer, I'd be really glad if any of Astro 320 users would test the patched firmwares in their devices, and post the results here or on G P S U.
Caty, I tried to access the site with 4 different browsers for 3 days and could not. Apparently it's not my firewall, so I do not know the cause of the blockage ... Thanks for the link ..
