Thanks so much, this is just what I needed!!
Unfortunately the unlocking won't work for me. I did exactly as discribed in the how-to section: in the Garmin Keygen 1.5 and later the 1,5 Fix version I entered my unit ID, then entered FID 2278 and clicked Generate on the bottom. This I copied into a txt file (without any Enter) and saved it as gmapsupp.unl. This and the IMG copied onto a SD, folder Garmin. But it still says 'Map not authenticated'.
I am absolutely new to the world of maps & Co, so please forgive my ignorance
