Hi,
I have recently purchased some 1:25k OS maps of GB via the Birdseye Select feature.
These maps are tied to the device the maps were purchased for and should I upgrade my GPS in a year or two I will not be able to transfer the maps.
Is there a way to unlock these maps which are in the .jnx format in the same way as the .img map files?
Thanks in Advance
EDIT:
I've just been taking a look at this and if the .jnx file is opened in notepad the license number of the gps unit is on the third line of text. Could it simply be a case of changing the license number to match that of the new gps unit?
Could someone test this with the attached .jnx file please. I found my Oregon 450 license number under settings>about.
