Thread: Garmin City Navigator Europe NT 2011.32 Mapsource + Regions IMGs

Thanks, the last version NON NT maps is CN Europe 2009

I have a problem with the gmap3d on my nuvi 765T.
I found one (377.800KB) which should be working on CNE 2011.32 but when I start the device it says that it can not unlock the map. The problem is not the 2011.32, it's working well, but the gmap3d because when I rename the extension .img to .old or whatever it does not give this message.
Do I need to unlock gmap3D? When yes, how do I do this and do I need a map-ID?

Can also sombody tell me where the *.sum files (with the same names as all the .img) in the Garmin folder are for?

Damian, if you mean diacritical characters, they can be typed by using the numerical keypad on your keyboard while the Num Lock light is on and the ALT key is pressed.

For instance, the letter é can be typed by having the Num Lock light on, then pressing the ALT key and while holding that key pressed, enter 130 on the numerical keypad. Similarly, use code 129 to get ü (like in the word nüvi).

Thank you very much. It's working great now.

Another possibility: you have the gmapsupp.unl for unlocking the map. Copy the file and rename it to gmap3d.unl. Then 3D Buildings are also unlocked.
Worked with my 765 when I flashed it to Europe version
